This component handles the scan process in the document management lifecycle. The process is designed to enable a user to handle large and small volumes of scanned documents and feed them into the document management system.

The input for this process is the documents that are to be scanned and the output is in the form of images and log files detailing the processes followed while scanning. Image correction and enhancement procedures like scanfix and deskew processes are also carried out during this time.

SAFER Capture is flexible and user friendly and can be used by people without experience in scanning systems.
